DR. JUSTINA MOCKUNAS

Dentist

Dr. Justina Mockunas graduated in Lithuania from Kaunas University of Medicine, College of Dentistry where she obtained her DDS Degree in 2008. In 2017 she got accepted into Advanced Standing Program at NYU Langone Health and obtained Certificate for her 2 year Advanced Education In General Dentistry residency in 2019. Soon after this Dr. Mockunas moved to Chicagoland area and received her accreditation by CODA and obtained an IL dental license.

During her years of practice Dr. Justina has learned that making others smile from inside out is what drives her into becoming a better dentist everyday. She feels rewarded with being able to improve a patient’s self esteem and confidence by creating a healthy beautiful smile. Dr. Justina’s knowledge, gentle chair side manner and positive personality decreases her patient's dental anxiety. She enjoys educating her patients about oral health. Dr. Justina constantly is seeking excellence in dentistry by continuing education to better serve her patients.

GIEDRIUS MOCKUNAS

Business Operations & Development

Hi, I'm Giedrius and I am a full time business operations & development specialist at Pinnacle Dental Group. I am grateful to be a part of a wonderful and caring dental team. I have been in business operations and management since 2010. I finished my Bachelor of Science degree in 2010, as well as Master's in Business Administration from Lewis University in 2014. Since then, I have worked for organizations such as Deloitte, State of California, and Robert Bosch.

My favorite thing about being in business operations is that every part of business operations, whether it is marketing, accounting, or administration is always changing and a business must adopt these changes in order to move forward.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family; traveling, as well as playing sports, such as basketball.

LAUREN EVANS, RDH

Dental Hygienist

I became a dental hygienist in 2007 after graduating from Illinois Central College in Peoria, IL. Over the last 16 years, I have been fortunate to be part of dynamic dental practices and Pinnacle Dental is no exception.

As a hygienist I strive to make patient comfort a top priority. I’m also very passionate about educating patients so that they can the healthiest mouth (and body) possible. With the ever evolving world of dentistry, I strive to learn about new technology and current research to provide the best information and care to you for a healthy beautiful smile.

When I am not practicing dental hygiene I love cooking, traveling, staying fit and most of all spending time with my family.

Dental Hygienist

Hi, I'm Sarah. I've been a hygienist at Pinnacle Dental since 2017.

I graduated from Prairie State College with my Associate in Applied Science- Dental Hygiene degree in 2012. After working in private practice for a few years I decided to complete my Bachelor of Science degree. Since completing my Bachelor's from Minnesota State University- Mankato in 2016 I have been an adjunct faculty member in Prairie State College's Dental Hygiene Program. I am certified in CPR, nitrous oxide sedation, local anesthetic, and laser periodontal therapy.

In my free time I love to spend time with my husband, our son Bobby, and our dog Jasper. We love finding new trails to explore!

I love being a hygienist because making people feel good and learn how to better care for themselves are things I am passionate about. I also enjoy forming relationships with my patients and hearing about exciting things in their lives. My co-workers and our patients at Pinnacle truly make it so easy to come to work!

KALEIGH SMITH

Dental Assistant

Kaleigh is a 2013 Graduate of the Dental Assisting Program at College of DuPage. She is a full-time, certified dental assistant currently in pursuit of an associates degree in health sciences.
Kaleigh assists Dr. Justina during procedures and helps provide patients with a calming environment. She also has a current CPR certificate.
